The holidays are right around the corner and you may be looking for the perfect gift for the blogger, entrepreneur, and freelancers in your life. Maybe you want to share some gifts with your clients or send a little extra love to your biz buddy.

Either way, here are some of my picks for holiday gifts for that biz-oriented person!

Video recording tools

Webinars and video content are blowing up in the blogosphere and online business right now.

It’s not hard to jump in if you have the basic tools but at least invest in something worthwhile. If you know someone who has been using their iPhone (or that 10 year old camera) to record some videos, give them something better!

I personally use the Blue Yeti microphone. It’s a bit pricier than the lower-range Blue Snowball but it’s a good, high-quality microphone and lots of biz owners use them. Haven’t you seen all those swanky Instagram pics?

Logitech makes some great webcams which can record HD video and let you stream live video for webinars. This particular model is very affordable and has HD capabilities. I was lucky and found a webcam for $1 at a yard sale but its not all that better than my laptop cam.

A decent camera can only do so much. Investing in a nice lighting kit can make a HUGE difference in the quality of your videos. Looking professional is important!

Websites and blogging

Blogging isn’t free. You need a quality web host, domain name, and a nice looking theme. These things might not seem like gift ideas but for a passionate blogger or freelancer it will make all the difference.

For web hosting, I use and recommend SiteGround. Not only are they one of the fastest shared hosting providers, they have amazing customer service and really affordable rates. They even can migrate your site for free. Doesn’t get much better than that!

For domain names I always use NameCheap. While it can be tempting to go with cheaper places for something as simple as a domain name, you want to use a company that is top rated, has great support, and is easy to use.

Finally, you need a design or theme that represents your brand and help convert your visitors. Custom web design may be a hard thing to gift so I recommend Coded Creative Themes.

Coded Creative Premade Logos

Not only do they have amazing and affordable themes for bloggers, they now offer premade logos too. What I love about Coded Creative Themes is that they are strategically built with the blogger in mind and have themes for beginners and professionals.

Planners and office supplies

A fancy new notebook or planner can make a great gift for someone who prefers the old pen and paper. One of my favorites are the Bullet Journal which really can work with any notebook you have but grid-type paper is the most common.

Another popular option is the Day Designer planners which are gorgeous and highly recommended by entrepreneurs. They can be a bit more pricey but you’ll get a selection of fancy covers and strategically built pages.

If you’re looking for something a bit more technical, I love Logitech’s computer mice. They work well, are wireless and optical plus they have so many cute and fresh designs! I like to update mine every year with a new look.

Finally, if you know a blogger who has tons of photos or someone who just needs way more space then an external hard drive is the thing to get. It’s super easy (and more secure) to store all your photos, files, or client work right to it.

Books

Ok, so I’m not a big reader but I have enjoyed a few of the books listed below. You Are a Badass is not only a great book for business owners but just anyone who wants to take control of their life.

Books are a great way to expand your knowledge, learn new skills, and have a little me-time!
